Okay people. I wasn't going to post about this, because I'm sure that people will post ad nausium, but I've got nothing else. So here we go.
Last week I was out of town, but nothing blogworthy happened. The kids and I had a great time visiting friends at their cabin on a lake in Michigan. We had a great time and I made it a real vacation by going completely black as far as these there internets go. Next week will be busy playing catch-up and you shouldn't expect to me around much (please don't give up on me), but in the mean time I will be heading off to BlogHer.
So in preparation for the party of the year convention, I have neglected to pack. Don't worry, I will get to it. I just had a few things to take care of first. A girl has to have her priorities.
First, I had to give my tootsies some love: *tidbit to give NukeDad a laugh ~ Yes they plucked the hair off of my gorilla toes.
Next, I couldn't be seen with man hands, so I did this:
Well, that gray wasn't going to wash itself out of my hair. Nor were the split ends working in my favor. Come to think of it, the caterpillar living on my brow line had to go and reluctantly I also answered yes to the time honored question of "You lip too?" (Guys won't get that one, but the chicks are wetting their pants) I wound up like this:
The next thing I new, I had this:
and this:
I went to go pick up this:
Yes, I know it's backwards, but not in real life. I came back to my computer to find this:
Oh, and if you want to know what I'll be wearing, it will be this:
and it says this on the back:
In case you don't have a mirror handy, it says WWWMD? (What would WeaselMomma do?) reference and a link to my Dear Weaselmomma column @ Dad-Blogs. These shirts are now for sale over there. So you too can dress as cool and hip as I do.
Have a great weekend folks. I'm sure I will!

THE CUT IS PHENOMENAL!!!
SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS BUT I AM TRULY SCREAMING ABOUT HOW AWESOME YOU LOOK!
and now I'm sad, because I am too homely to stand next to you. See you next week...or something. :)
You look fantastic, toes, hands, hair and all!
Dah-link you look simply FABOO!
Can't wait to meet you this weekend!!!
Can't wait to meet your bad self girlfriend!
You'll make a great splash there at the convention, without a doubt!
All the backwards photos that you've been surrounded by lately make me wonder whether there's some underlying theme I'm missing. ?bmwww indeed.
You rook MAHVEROUS! So, does this mean you are wearing jeans Thursday night?
Dahling, YOU LOOK MAHVELOUS!
Love the new do! I was jealous of your long hair when I saw it on the show last night, now this cute cut! Have a GREAT time.
I'm not a hands and feet kind of guy, but damn the hair is looking awesome!
Have an excellent time! (i'm sure you will) Can't wait to hear about the party...uh I mean the convention.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the look! You look fabulous (and the kids are prety cute, too)!
I hope you have a blast at BlogHer and make sure to post pictures!
you know i'm still not happy about the whole dad blogs tee thing. not only did you have to show it on the show, but here, too? *hmmmph* but you really do look great :)
You are lovely inside and out, love the new style =). I think I'll have to link Niecey to this post, she was disappointed that Smallest went to bed before the show. Middle Weasel saying hi to her in the chat made her very happy. Can't believe that little bugger, she figured out how to work the chat all by herself! I nearly died laughing when I saw "microblogologist" slightly misspelled pop up in the chat. We will have to e-mail you her joke, she started telling one when you asked but people were chatting too fast.
Thanks again for giving Eyes for Jaclyn a shout out! Her parents got to see part of it when it reran this afternoon, it kept going in and out but they were able to hear part of it and "blown away" by the fact that you two mentioned it. I think that the support they are getting from the local and now the blogger community is helping them get through this difficult time, so glad to be a part of that!
Boy, sure seems like a lot of fuss for a simple little convention. I mean how important could it be for all these women to show up to talk about blogging....
Seriously, have fun.
@ Melisa ~ We can tell people that you are my gorgeous bodyguard.
@ Beautiful & Colleen ~ Thank girls.
@ Manic & Colleen ~ Oh, it's mutual.
@ Tom ~ Thanks. The backwards is because I used the built in camera on my Mac. It's all mirror image.
@ Mrs4444 ~ That's for Friday.
@ Terri ~ I should have saved the hair and mailed it to you in a creepy Michael Jackson Elephant Man kind of way.
@ Jason ~ Thanks buddy.
@ Seashore ~ I sure wish that you and Nonna were coming.
@ Surprised ~ I'm sure you will see lots.
@ Ciara ~ They wanted the advertising in time for blogher. I am working on getting them to make yours too.
@ Micro ~ That's a great cause and I can't wait to see neicy's joke.
@ Mike ~ I'm sure it will be a good time. I mean that I will learn a lot.
Love it! you look Gorgeous! (I'm still adjusting to you w/ long hair--years of a different image ingrained in my brain...). Have a great time, & I can't wait to read all about it!! Safe travels to all!
Woo hoo!! WeaselMomma you look awesome!! Have a blast!!
Oh baby....
What exactly goes on at BlogHer? Is it a secret conspiratorial society created to keep The Man down?
;)
Hope you have fun. There are other HR bloggers I know who are going.
Oh sure... no new posts while that blog event of all blog events (at least for gals)....
glad to see you're back online.
