Trust Me

I received an email from a trusted friend that said to follow these instructions. I usually delete this type of thing in my spam, but considering the source I played along and was happy I did. Trust me on this one people.

Call the Nestle Crunch Hotline at 800-295-0051. When you are asked if you want to continue in English or Spanish, just wait quietly for about 10 seconds and you will smile. Promise! Keep going, press 4 listen to the options...then press 7.

The automated system is voice sensitive, so keep that in mind. I bet that you forward this onto friends, family and neighbors alike.

Have a great Saturday People!

I tried it and thought it was good enough to share it with my wife.

I handed her the phone, pre-dialed, with the instructions to just listen. When it asked if she wanted "English," she said "One."

"No, no, no. Hang up and call again."

She did. When it asked her if she wanted "English," she said, "One," again.

"Arg! You're just supposed to listen, not talk."

But she couldn't help herself. When she said, "One," the third time I took the phone, dialed, and held onto it until the options started. This time I said, "One."

We're idiots! =)

That was great. I wish more businesses could use a similar form of humor in their dealings. It would make the world a better place- hey, isn't that a coke commercial?

@ Michelle ~ Yeah, it's worth a second go round. You didn't bother to share this with your readers?????

@ Mrs4444 ~ I do what I can to promote awesome.

@ Jason ~ I agree. People and businesses alike need to take themselves less seriously and find time for humor and fun just for the sake of it.

@ FoF ~ and that's why I passed it on. Hope your whole house had a good laugh.

@ Bad Momma ~ They were all worth it. Pig Latin was definitely my favorite part, had me crying.
