This is what happens when WeaselMomma heads upstairs briefly and leaves Weasels unsupervised. Eldest Weasel took the camera and decided to tease Boy Weasel about a crush he has and all decided to tear the house to shreds.
This is for you Mrs4444, I hope you like it! It should go into the Stupid Human Trick Hall of Fame. I still can't believe I am posting this.

Those are awesome. I can't imagine where you learned drinking tricks in college.
I can just imagine boy weasel demanding an entirely new nighttime wardrobe now. And plotting revenge on eldest. Aren't they fun? Especially with the camera. Oh - and the "trick" - I'll have to see if Michael's Mommy knows that one.
@ Bryan ~ I can't remember clearly, but am fairly sure you were there. lol.
@ Tom ~ Oh, it's going to get ugly for sure. Michael's Mommy can always practice.
Your face before the "ta-da" cracked me up! I'm going to watch it again.
I kinda want footies. It doesn't really matter since I'm already married and stuff. And nice trick. Who says you don't learn anything useful in college?
During the "ta-da" too! Hilarious!
FANTASTIC!! Hooray! I am laughing really hard right now. For a second there, I was waiting for you to flash your BOOBS! LOL!!
One more thing...how do I copy that video for my Hall of Fame? I will also link to it on my main page, but it needs a permanent home, too :)
Oh, and BTW, You son dropping the baby CRACKED my up! (I have issues, I know.)
@ Momo ~ I am here for your amusement!
@ BusyDad ~ They sell them in adult sizes. College had many useful life lessons.
@ Mrs4444 ~ I will try to email the HTML. I laughed myself 1/2 to death when I saw the video of Smallest Weasel getting dropped.
I love the 'thud' when she hits the floor. Classic.
and the human trick. Awesome. I feel so close to you now.
@ Heinous ~ The thud is definitely the best part. The trick, what's a shot among friends?
ahhh your kids are seeming more and more like mine every day. teehee
So did your kids videotape you during your stupid human trick or was it Mr. Weasel? Awesome. :)
Hey, did you ever do that wine thing? Another reason to drink...
And by the way, there's a kid around every freakin' corner over there!!!!
When you want some quiet time, come over here. I'll send the two boys outside to build a snowman. :)
I love that the "baby" didn't wail and scream when she got dropped. You have awesome kids!
Say, what do you call that shot in your SHT? (wink, wink!) AWESOME!
@ Rhonda ~ do doubt, this is a nut house.
@ Melisa ~ Mr. Weasel did the videography, yes we have an infestation of Weasels here. Last but not least, that invitation sounds great!
Your talents are astounding and worthy of a big cheer. Hurrah....
I think we have the same refrigerator.
I need hands for just about everything one would hope to be able to do without hands, unfortunately. Except for driving.
@ Terri ~ Funny you should ask, I call it the "Shot with no hands", lol.
@ Mike ~ ummm, thanks? I think?
@ Muskrat ~ You have good taste. Use hands for driving and I'll give you shot lessons.
I knew a girl who used to take shots like that. She took one too many, it seems. The only job she could find was as an astronomer.
Ok, I listened three times and EVERY time the first ingredient I heard was "a little balsamic vinegar" which I know CAN'T be right. Ummm... I gotta ask, what goes with the Bailey's and whipped cream?
And you know how badly I want to try it now? Let's just say that if there was whipped cream in the house, you'd know now how badly I failed ;)
Ah children...that video reminds me why I'm so glad mine are adults with children of their own - not in my house.
Quite the trick their. I could make all kinds of comments but none appropriate for a blog with child videos.
@ de-I ~ Thank you. That's appreciated.
@ Nonna ~ I couldn't publish that one, my kids read this sometimes.
@ NukeDad ~ That's why I left that back at college.
@ Michelle ~ That's coffee liqueur.
I'm surprised you don't do this "trick" everyday! I will have to try this SHT. Bet it comes in helpful in dealing with the daily "zoo"!
I am twinkaye and nona's mother. I have five kids also. Unfortunately they are all grown up now and I don't know when I'll get over the empty nest. You sound so funny. I never let my kids have rodents. I knew they would get loose and I would die if they got close. I am going to read your blog and it makes me think of my life when I was the most important person in my kids life.
OMG...make a pg lady pee her pants why don't you?? (no, i didn't, but it was a close one!) I love the poor tough Smallest Weasel getting dropped--I can SOO see that happening at my house, the torture of Boy Weasel, (I see that coming, too) & the chase through the house, which never ends here!
The shot...oh, the shot! I laughed out loud again when Terri reminded me of it's real name--college was a Looooong time ago--& I don't recall the bar on the corner having such slender shot glasses! :) Those were the days...
Vid 1: I LOVE your kids! They are so hilarious. I adore how smallest went from hurt to ham the second she realized she was on camera (I swear her and Niecey are twins somehow!). Eldest chasing both tween boys around with the camera was great. And was that the lovely little Monkey sporting a new haircut?
Vid 2: I would definitely choke if I even thought about trying that!
If you need a break you should come here, I am sure there are plenty of undergrads that you could school in how to take shots and reality probably much further away over here than with Melisa! And I am quite curious what Nonna said that you couldn't publish... Given how undiscriminating they are with Niecey I don't have to worry too much what she reads on my blog, gotta be more wholesome than Silent Hill or whatnot, sigh.
I'll be RIGHT over. Make ME one of those.
Oh, and I am drooling over your kitchen...
NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wait'll the gang at Oscar's see's that! You can on my team manytime.
BTW - Nice lil drink there. I'llhave to feature it soon!
I love how your daughter is talking to the camera, as if it's a person! Too cute! For some reason I cannot get the second video to play. But I can tell from the comments, it's a good one!
How many takes did it take on the shot video? If it were me, I'd have definitely shot if a few times to make sure it was "just right" :)
Hearing the kids today made me miss you guys! I know I'm insane! And don't count out public office - you just need a spin doctor..all the politicians have one!
@ Bad Momma ~ Mr. Weasel thinks I should do this often too. Let me know how your attempt works out.
@ Twinkaye ~ Glad your here and that I can provide you enjoyment.
@ Laura ~ There is a very fine reason why the details of college are fuzzy for you!
@ Micro ~ This place is always bustling, for sure. Try the shot for a v-blog and post it. That would be hilarious!
@ VodkaMom ~ Woo hoo, The bar is always open for you. Thanks for coming by!
@ Nap Warden ~ It is one of my only talents. Thanks, I love my kitchen too, it's why we bought this house.
@ Oscar ~ What are you going to call it?
@ Cheffie ~ She's too funny, all of the time. I love the 'thud' myself. You must get the other video to play.
@ Captain ~ There were quite a few takes and practice runs. You know, just to make sure I got it right!
@ Seashore ~ Oh, the feeling is mutual! That is why you are coming to BlogHer this summer!
See, you finally do a trick, and it brings all of the lurkers out of the woodwork! Aren't you glad you did it now?!
Heck no, you would make fun of me for taking a milk, water, or chocolate milk shot! Then you would make fun of me for getting it all over myself and wherever I decided to attempt such a crazy feet. The only situation that wouldn't be a complete disaster would likely be outdoors and wearing a bathing suit but then my nieghbors would call the funny farm on me and I doubt my handlers would allow me to play with my camera nor blog so you would so not get to see it! Crap, all that probably makes you want me to try it even more doesn't it? Of course the fact that it is -3°F here (actual not wind chill) I am so not wearing just a bathing suit outside, that would be suicide, a cold and messy demise.
Posting this tonight at midnight....
As I told Mrs. 4444, I've never seen this SHT, and I've been around the block too many times to count. With my luck, though, I'd probably drop the glass and it would cut my face open or something. Thanks for brightening my day!
